The short version
Maaser Tracker keeps your information on your own computer. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and we never sell or share it.
What the app stores
To do its job, the app saves the information you enter — income, donations (tzedaka), descriptions, dates, receipts you attach, goals, recurring schedules and your settings. This information is stored:
- on your computer, in the app's data folder;
- in the backup folder you choose (by default, Documents\Maaser Tracker Backups);
- in a sync folder (for example OneDrive), only if you turn on “Sync across computers”. In that case the file is handled by that service under its own privacy policy.
What we collect
Nothing. Maaser Tracker has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not send your data to chaimsapps.com or to anyone else.
Internet use
The app works fully offline and does not connect to the internet by itself. Updates are delivered by the Microsoft Store.
Files you import
If you import a bank or credit-card CSV file, it is read on your computer only, and only the lines you choose are saved.
Deleting your data
You can delete entries at any time (Settings → Delete data). Uninstalling the app removes its data folder; your backup file in Documents is kept until you delete it.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
